5 ROCKETS FOR EDINBURGH

TOM SACHS

AUGUST 2015 – NOVEMBER 2015

Sachs has long been fascinated with space travel and the operations at NASA. 5 Rockets for Edinburgh was a project where five model rockets were shot into the air (reaching up to 1 km in the sky) and a recovery mission launched to find them after re-entry. Three of the five rockets were found by members of the public – one at the top of Arthur’s Seat! They were then exhibited along with other documentation of the mission at LATA.
