Letting a Single Flower Bloom

A HUNDRED YEARS OF JOSEPH BEUYS – 1921 – 2021 – LETTING A SINGLE FLOWER BLOOM.

On May 12 2021 it will be 100 years since the birth of Joseph Beuys.
One of the most influential artists of the last century, Beuys is well known amongst artists but, surprisingly, not a commonly known name by the general public.
Despite COVID regulations we wished to celebrate Beuys’ contribution to contemporary practice, philosophy, and socially engaged arts. We have installed a small exhibition of works, object multiples, prints and posters by the self-expressed “shaman”.

The exhibition will remain up for a number of months and when restrictions are lifted will be open for visitors at the gallery.

We hope to reopen later this year with new exhibitions with established and younger artists.
