Ballard took over the corridors in the Former Primary School’s concrete toilet blocks and installing a crawl tunnel video work where the concept of ‘non-place’ rules, where the installation is neither a starting point or a destination.
The work offered the viewer a situation for meditation on travel and transit: an environment that was suspended between space and place.
